Discovering Mountain Movers came at a pivotal moment when it felt like my life was falling apart and I didn’t know what God wanted me to do. I was a year into a legal separation after being married for 15 years, raising two teenagers on my own, on anxiety medication, and with heavy guilt about getting divorced.

Feeling completely lost, alone, and tormented in my mind and emotions, I turned to YouTube for guidance where I became inspired to seek deliverance and I soon came across Mountain Movers.

When I contacted the ministry, they recommended I join the live Wednesday Zoom teachings. It was a perfect starting point for me because I struggled with overwhelming shyness and self-consciousness and wasn’t ready to talk with anyone yet. However, as weeks passed, things began to shift. I was experiencing healing and freedom just from attending the calls! These truths were helping me, and I knew I needed to hear more, so I made the decision to join the mentorship program.

My first session with Melissa was such an eye-opening experience! She explained how my relationship with God had been influenced by familiar spirits and how a lifetime of battling rejection and low self-esteem led me on a constant pursuit of tangible encounters with God. Going from conference to conference, church to church, seeking a prophet to give me “a word,” and wanting a “physical touch from the Holy Spirit” had opened me up to the counterfeit Holy Spirit.

Melissa has helped me understand how my faulty belief system led me to chase these experiences, and now I’m prioritizing the basics of foundational (and true) doctrine, getting to know the REAL God of the Bible. I have learned to rely on His Word and to listen to His actual voice… instead of trying to find it by going from person to person and place to place.

Every session with her, I am blown away by new truths! Soon after starting the mentorship, I had incredible revelations about how to take my authority over physical sickness—something I’ve always begged God for, either for my kids or for myself. The amazing truth that came alive for me was that Jesus had already done everything for us on the cross. Every single sickness was taken away, and WE are supposed to believe that God has already healed us! (Mark 11:23)

I applied these truths to my life and have seen miraculous healing in myself and my kids. Anytime I see or hear a symptom of sickness, I command it to leave in the name of Jesus! Since understanding this revelation, a sickness has never come to fruition. Just recently, I was fully delivered from anxiety prescription medication used to manage intense bursts of anger, often directed at my kids, and I am doing amazingly well! I was on them for ten years

I once believed that all I needed was a one-and-done type deliverance session that would fix all my problems. I’ve come to understand that many of my struggles stem from mental strongholds that need rewiring and unresolved childhood soul wounds that require healing.

A few months into mentorship I have a peace, joy, and confidence that I’ve never had before. For the first time, I am beginning to embrace God’s purpose for my life. Now that I can discern His voice clearly, I am receiving new direction for my career path and creative ideas to achieve my goals, which is especially meaningful as a single mom. I’m very excited to see how it will all unfold!

Melissa has also begun working with my two children. It’s amazing to see them opening up to her as she speaks truth into their lives. I’m so thankful they have the opportunity to gain wisdom and revelation and have their faith sparked in the right direction as well!

The thing about mentorship that I am most grateful for is how my relationship with the Lord has strengthened and become so real to me. Melissa has encouraged me to really seek the Lord, depend on Him, and be able to receive His love—something that had never been easy for me. I have a better relationship with the Lord now more than I ever had in church, conferences, or even Bible school.
