Hello, my name is Renee and I want to share my testimony of how I found Mountain Movers and how Melissa Taft mentored me through battles I never talked about until I found this gem of a ministry. I had hit rock bottom with nowhere to turn, and every time I tried to change my life, the enemy would bring another “temporary fix.”

When I met my son’s dad, I truly desired change. I prayed for a good man after many toxic relationships. We moved quickly, and during COVID I lost my job, so I moved from Tucson to Phoenix with my daughter. Looking back, my low self-esteem and fear of abandonment played a big role in that decision.

A few years later, I became pregnant with our son. During labor, complications arose, and my son Ezra was rushed to the NICU. Doctors told me it wasn’t looking good. In that moment, with nothing left, I cried out to God for the first time and asked Him to save my son. Hours later, doctors called and said all tests were negative and Ezra was healthy. I knew only God could do that.

After that miracle, I bought a Bible and began seeking God. I came across teachings on deliverance and eventually found Mountain Movers through a ministry map online. Around that time, God began convicting me that living together and having sex outside of marriage was not honoring Him. I knew change was coming, but felt weak.

I joined a Wednesday night Zoom call, and the topic was “How to Know If You Are Unequally Yoked.” I was deeply convicted. Melissa reached out to me after I asked for prayer, and what I thought would be a quick call ended up changing my life. With her counsel, I had the courage to talk to my son’s dad about God and marriage. He made it clear neither was for him, and I knew I had to choose God.

After prayer and counsel from Melissa, I left that relationship. The spiritual warfare was intense, but God showed up for me like never before. He delivered me from depression, mental illness, trauma, and so much more. After over two years of mentorship, I can confidently say this ministry is the real deal. I would not be the woman of God I am today without Melissa Taft.

Six months ago, I lost my job as a single parent of two and fell into fear, but Melissa and the Mountain Movers team supported me, helped provide for my children, and encouraged me to trust the Lord. God was faithful. I now have the job of my dreams, live in Phoenix, and am providing more than I ever have.
